
How to Safely Ship Your Radio:

Taking adequate time to properly pack a vintage radio for shipping is well worth the time, effort, and expense. It will also help prevent the rare damages during shipping.
Materials Needed:
- 1 large box
- 1 medium box
- Packing tape
- Foam peanuts/bubble wrap
Packing Instructions:
- Use a strong, medium-sized box. Save at least 3" of space, surrounding the top, bottom, and sides.
- Place small or loose parts in bags with bubble wrap surrounding the bags.
- Place enough bubble wrap to securely keep the radio from moving.
* Do not over pack or pack parts tightly together. This may cause shifting and the dial glass or other delicate parts could get broken.
* Do not put packing tape directly on the radio surface.
- Place a gracious amount of peanuts to cover the bottom of the box.
- Insert the radio with the top end up and affix the radio into place.
- Fill sides and top of the with packing peanuts, newspaper, or bubble wrap.
- Please include your name, address and phone number or email address inside the package.
- Describe any problems you have with the radio (for repairs only).
- Seal the box with packing tape.
- Place the smaller box inside of the larger box and fill the edges with your desired packing material.
- Label the top as: This End Up (Click for a label print out).
Label the sides as: Fragile or Handle With Care (Click for a label print out).
- Insure your equipment for maximum safety.
- Make sure you save your tracking numbers given to you by the shipping company so you can track your radio easily.
